We should have stayed longer. 2 nigh was not enough to properly appreciate the location and service this hotel offered. Beautiful location, with views to the river, excellent food, comfortable rooms and bed, quiet relaxation. Massage also available. Staff is more than happy to assist anything you might need. Leisurely drive away from fantastic wineries. I would highly recommend it.

The complex includes a number of wonderful houses surrounded by fruit trees with an impressive view on the surroundings. Great friendly and helpfull staff at reception and in the restaurant. Your really feel a valued traveller. All houses have their own space /terrace with comfortable seats. There is a big garden with lemon trees, a nice swimming pool, and plenty of space for people, that want to sunbath. The place is a great starting point for trips to interesting cities, that can be reached within approximately 30-50 minutes. The trips in itself are a wonderful experience.

    This is a rural, almost remote, collection of homes in the mountains. You must have a car to get around. Access is by well-maintained but twisty, narrow roads with sharp turns and drop-offs. There is limited street lighting at night. Locals are friendly and speak only Portuguese. It is a good example of contemporary life in small mountain village. Groceries and restaurants are 15+ minutes away. Regua is 45-60 min away.
