Our host was nice and accessible, the house was huge considering it was only the two of us. For example we had 3 full bathrooms. It was unexpected but very nice to find some games to play in the living room, because we hadn't planned something for night entertainment. Didn't have time to try the pool or the rest of the facilities, but there was no problem with the kitchen. Loved the location, felt at home. Also, we arrived at dinner time and were able to go to a nearby minimarket to get things to cook dinner.

The property is an artistic heaven, with a personalised room house, with an ambience music and scents everywhere. Great host, answering to all your needs, ready to prepare your breakfast, to recommend you restaurants and things to absolutely see in the area. We really enjoyed the quiet countryside, where you can reconnect with nature, get energised for the agitated Lisbon and just take your time to enjoy it. You need a car to reach the property.

The accommodation was absolutely great – a beautiful house, clean rooms, and a wonderful garden. With kids, it felt like a peaceful oasis. The hills around were lovely, and it was about a 30-minute drive to the sea. Communication with Tereza and the care from Daniela were just perfect. They also helped us a lot during a blackout when we ended up staying longer than planned and gave us a safe place to stay after our flight was cancelled. For that, I’m truly grateful. We’ll definitely come back one day.

The property was finished to a very high standard and is very good condition. It was spacious and very well equipped. We especially liked the wine cabinet made of a old barrel. There is adequate off road parking but no garden. The location is very quiet in a rural village, there is little passing traffic. But it is easy to get on to main roads to Alcobaça etc. There are supermarkets in Alcobaça. It is easy to do day trips to the coast or the historic towns of Batalha or Obidos but a car is essential as there is minimal public transport.

This is a stunning guesthouse in a very quiet area but close to many interesting places to visit (Tomar, Fatima, Obidos ...). There is shared equipment (kitchen, dining room, TV room, swimming pool) which makes life easy and comfortable. We will definitely go back.
