Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with tastefully renovated facilities that reflect great attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The size of the bed was absolutely great, it was wonderful to have private parking, the theme of the room was fun and I appreciated all of the attention to detail. The check-in process was super easy, the view from the room was lovely and the bath with the massage function was awesome! It is one of, if not the best, places I have stayed at.

We had such a wonderful family stay at Hotel Alegre! The hotel has a charming, traditional atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful advice about the local area. We especially loved the beautiful location in Luso — so peaceful, with lovely views and easy access to the thermal baths and nearby attractions. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, a perfect start to our days.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at Hotel do Parque which speaks for itself. Maria is very helpful in providing lots of local information and the different cakes she bakes for breakfasts are wonderful. The property is a hundred years old and full of old fashioned character yet scrupulously clean with modern amenities. The accomplished pianist who plays some nights in the lounge is particularly special and adds to the atmosphere over glasses of the local Port. I thoroughly recommend this place for a stay... but please not if it stops me getting a room there!

Great room and staff. I ordered food to the hotel that the staff helped with sorting and they gave me a plate and cutlery to use. Breakfast was a really good buffet and the room had everything i needed. It was pouring with rain when I arrived and the staff had no problem with me arriving early from walking the Camino.

They have now a indoor swimming pool in 2016 when I came with my children even the elevator wasn’t working, now it was and the little touch of the pool after traveling it was just good
