Great breakfast, beautiful room with the view over the railway tracks. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The building was also great, with many original elements (like stone walls etc) left after the renovation. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. The staff is very professional and kind and friendly. The food is a MUST BOOK. Both dinners were exceptional. Great views, good wine, nice pool and very professional and communicative staff. I liked the whatsapp communication leading up to and during our stay. Our waiter, Miguel, also deserves special mentioning.

I visited with my wife in February which is an off season for tourist, additionally the weather is windy and cold The property is beautifully located in the nature with birds chirping in the morning, and town church bell ringing… It is truly a fairytale experience. Couples should experience the Suite Room only !!! Worth the experience The staff here are super cooperative and wines definite to try at Quinta Da Pacheca… Look forward to visit again some time soon All in all, I’m glad to make a good choice of staying 02 nights at this hotel

We had car trouble and the owner of the Quinta, Phillipe, was gracious enough to pick us up and assist us with getting another car, dealing with the rental company, etc. The Quinta is beautiful, the accommodations lovely, and the food delicious. We hope to stay here again.

Our stay on Residencial Douro was amazing. Suzana was a wonderful staff, always ready to help and super friendly. The room is fantastic, so big and with a wall between the double bed and the single bed. The balcony is huge and has an amazing view. The location was super as well, very close to the Rio Douro and easy for a nice walk through the river. The city center is ~10 / 15min away, what was very ok for a walk through the city. It's also a very safe place. I highly recommend this place

Fantastic, very smart, excellent staff and facilties. On a motorbike and free underground parking, lovely town however did struggle to get a decent meal. We stayed extra days due to poor weather. Drinks in the bar, not expensive and a restaurant, however not open Sunday and Monday night but you can get bar meals. I would stay here again.. loads of TV channels.

This place is special! The staff was sweet and helpful (and great cake-makers). The building is spotless, and the view is one of the best I've ever stayed in anywhere. This was better than the 5-star place we stayed at for 3 x the price. OK, no restaurant, spa, etc, but when nature puts on this kind of show, it can't be beaten. The place was spotless.
