Truly luxury hotel atmosphere. Inpeccable service Good location, 10min walk to city center (uphill on return walk). Ocean view room had all the aneminities one could expect. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed, fantastic view from the window! The staff is responsive and kind. Especially the woman at the bar, who prepared coffee and told us about the complimentary glass of Madeira wine!

Everything was great: the room was spacious with a view to the pool and ocean, breakfast included a glass of the sparkling wine which was a great start of the day :) Hotel has several pools (indoor/outdoor), gym.

The location is great and the hotel is very nice. Amazing breakfast, perfect with the rooftop pool and bar with very nice views of Funchal and the ocean. Also great with the Spa. I had a big and comfortable room with a kitchenette.
