We had an amazing stay at Monte do Roque. It was the perfect place for a peaceful vacation after spending some days in Lisbon. The B&B is located on a farm surounded by fields with oak trees so we were able to go on some nice walks and hang out with the animals on the farm (thanks Veronique for letting us help out with the animals here and there ☺️). Veronique and Tom were great hosts, making you feel like a part of the family! They also had some great suggestions for day trips so we had a lot of fun discovering the nearby towns. The rooms were nicely decorated and the breakfast was great as well, it had everything we needed. We are looking forward to coming back in Summer and see how they improved further (and try out the pool as well since it was still a bit too cold)

The house was immaculate, had every needed for cooking. The host responded so quickly and was extremely accommodating. The perfect rural tourism. Games for the kids and everything was in great condition.

The whole experience was amazing! The location, so calm… the views were breathtaking, the house was so beautiful. The infinity pool was amazing! The breakfast was very good, a great variety of things, and a beautiful room to eat in! Both Luísa and Andrew were super friendly and kind, always trying their best to make our experience one to remember, surprising us with a little things. Very thoughtful!

We liked everything! Location on the top square of old medieval square, parking next to the hotel, exterior and interior like from historic books but with all modern functionality, dinner in hotel’s restaurant was fabulous! Recommend this place!

The outdoors is ver pleasant and sunny pool, very close to the main road! Staff very friendly and helpful! Nice breakfast, not super fancy but good food.

A very interesting convent in lovely countryside. We could explore the historic building. We were here in November so didn’t get chance to use the swimming pool but that looked worth coming back for. There are a couple of great walks laid out in the Convent estate. We had a good dinner in the restaurant. The room and breakfast were excellent, staff very helpful. We have already recommended it to friends who also travel in the area.

The room we had was big, clean, with a nice view on the Plaza and close to the centre of the town. The breakfast was a feast for us because this was the first time a hotel offered it. We could park or bicycles in a garage and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!
