The house is so cosy and comfy and had everything you need for a lovely stay. The fire is amazing, it had been lit for our arrival and there was plenty of fire wood. The village is beautiful and the hosts are really kind and friendly. A perfect short trip to relax and unwind.

Wow. What a fantastic place. Remote location. Spectacular views and gardens with orange, Lemon,kiwi apple and pear trees. The place was immaculate and just the place to unwind. The kitchen has everything you need. The nearest town is around 20 minutes away by car where there are shops and restaurants. There is also a public outdoor pool 5 minutes drive away. Alcina is just so lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. We enjoyed every minute of of our stay.

We loved our stay at Casinha do Sol! Jon Audun and Friederike are wonderful hosts, and we felt truly welcomed. The casinha (little house) is perfect for a couple looking to spend quality time surrounded by nature. It was cozy and serene. Jon and Friederike’s suggestion to brave the cold and enjoy a walk in nature followed by a warm shower was the highlight of our trip. We hope to return!
