Lovely place. Very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the pool which was fun. Lovely yard which is fun to hang out in. The room was comfortable and clean, well equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed it

WOW what a special place with so much history, we loved absolutely everything about our visit. The hotel was stunning, our room was huge, clean, and comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful with hot water and heaps of pressure. Lovely property gardens to walk through. Most of all, our hosts Manuel and Amelia were so kind, friendly, and helpful. 100% recommend!

Wonderful property, well maintained with great facilities, the friendship of Eduardo, his hospitality and availability to answer all questions, a great host! We had enjoyed very much our stay and the surrounding area, stay in and enjoy the pool, the horizon deck or a swing of the view to the barrage otherwise just walk out and hike around discovering the local waterfalls, local gastronomy and people . No doubt a place to return and recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Casa de Gonçalo. The house was extremely clean and comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked with everything you might need to make a meal. The fireplace in the kitchen was just amazing. Miss Elisabete was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back again for a longer stay at this great place

We stayed at this apartment for one night, and it was a good experience. The view from the property is absolutely stunning. But what truly set this place apart was the incredible hospitality of the owners. We arrived late and asked if there were any nearby restaurants where we could grab a meal. Since it was already quite late, most places were closed. To our surprise, a short while later, the owners arrived at the apartment with food for us. This thoughtful gesture meant so much, and it showed the genuine care they have for their guests. The apartment itself was spotless, with a well-equipped kitchen and a fantastic shower — everything you need for a comfortable stay. This level of kindness and attention to detail is rare, and it made our stay truly special. We would absolutely return and recommend this apartment.
