The beautiful surroundings, the setting of location close to the lake and woods. Easy nature walking trail around the lake and goods. We liked the interior design of the restaurant and common rooms. Great hospitality, warm and friendly service, with an extra smile. The food was great. Liked the clothing the staff had in the restaurant. They all looked so beautiful.

The Hotel, location, history and staff where amazing, aspecially the large lounges where one could enjoy a coffee, thee or a lemonade with fellow guests we could enjoy. We really enjoyed our two days there, although it was only a spontaneous rebooking. Unfortunately we had to change our booking at very short notice and only booked for the night at around 7pm and could get in at 8pm. Very nice landlords. (Thank you!) The house is wonderfully rustic with real wood ceilings. There is a fireplace that can be used (firewood was also available). The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge. Beautiful, large and well-kept garden with parking for at least 3 cars. The house is at the end of the road with woods and fields all around. There is also a small extra cottage for sleeping. Mattresses were firm but comfortable. Only a few minutes drive away is a lake with a very nice swimming area and barbecue facilities (including toilet).

Great place. Nice food and drinks in bar downstairs. Wish I'd tried the sauna but ran out of time! It was a last minute booking and they were super helpful. Bed was much bigger than I thought and very warm and comfy. Bathroom also lovely. For a compact room it exceeded my expectations. Great touch having a little drawer with a kettle and coffee to get me going in the morning.
