Our 3 days were just perfect. The owners were extremely friendly, helpful and caring. The hotel is in an area of outstanding natural beauty if you enjoy walking . Nearby Falun mine and Carl Larsson' s home added to our stay and we hope to return one day to explore further.

Wonderfully friendly nuns. The house is totally barrier-free (step-free), including the shower Even though it's only two stories, there is a lift to the top floor. Some have called the rooms simple but in fact nothing at all is lacking, by hotel standards, except maybe shampoo. Exceptionally clean too, daily housekeeping. Pleasant, old-fashioned library where you could sit on a rainy day. Parking in front of the house. Too far from town to walk but there is a lovely garden and a bathing place, right on the lake shore. The water was a bit cold when I was there at the end of June...

I had a wonderful experience staying in this room. The hosts were incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. You can tell they put great care into making sure everything is perfect for their guests. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The service was truly top-notch and exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, peace, and outstanding hospitality. Service was excellent from all the staff. Big + for really hot sauna early in the morning ,and that I was reminded that when I arrived! :-) Easy to access and ok gym, not the biggest . but who cares when you can run through your program and get ready for the day?

Really friendly staff, beautiful furnishings, excellent breakfast in a gorgeous dining room...pool table, comfy beds, nice showers, gym on site. Stayed in lots and lots of hotels and this was one of my favourites. Could live here. Close to the centre of Falun an all.
