The host were lovely, very welcoming and provided all the information we needed which was great. The apartment is beautiful, very well equipped and clean. This was the most special stay during our Balkan trip. The house is built on top of Roman ruins in the area. There is a small museum in one room which explains the history of the place. Do not miss it. It is beautifully done. Room was clean and cosy with view towards a quite road and another pretty house. Good food and wine. It is served in the restaurant on the ground floor which bears aura of old times. The views around the house are great. Several trails to walk. Great place to stay if you are visiting Postojna cave, just 30 minutes away. And 15 minutes from Predjama Castle.
