Amazing place to visit!
Amazing place to visit! Gorgeous town, loved the lake and boat tours to see hundreds of birds on the shimmering waters. Also enjoyed the town and Irma's Indigo scarf making workshop. A truly special place to visit!Guest review byBarbara - 6.0
We thought we would see more in the city center.

The local government is working to preserve the old town.
The local government is working to preserve the old town. The roads are stone and many homes built in the spanish colonial architectural style. There are ordinances that prohibit modifications to the home’s facade, so the owners restore to look like the original. The city is very clean, safe and the people are very friendly. The main plaza is lively with local vendors selling a variety of things all weekend. Will definitely return to Suchitoto.Guest review byManuelUnited States

The views were incredible, the food and service was top notch, and our room was comfortable and quiet. we were also able to pay in bitcoin, which we appreciated. It's a quick stroll along picturesque streets to the town centre, and we just happened to arrive as a fair was setting up, which made our time in Suchitoto extra special and memorable.
