Great hosts, great nature surroundings, great atmosphere, one feel like at home. A great experience. I can highly recommend the big house for those in search of peace, nature, simplicity. Thailand as it once was. Basic though, but it has to be so to perfectly fit in the surroundings.

The hardworking couple running this place, does everything they can to assure a stay living up to your expectations,, and they succeed. Staying at Sunset Bungalows is an exceptional experience. Nature lovers get rewarded by the jungle feeling and tranquility. The bungalows are simple but have all you need. Located on the beautiful Long Beach, there is always a phenomenal view no matter what time it is. It is also great to get to know people, but it was never crowded either. Food was phenomenal and it is a go to place for coffee lovers. Staff was friendly, helpful and they even remember your preferences, e.g. for me it was extra spicy no tomatoes which I did not even need to mention after the second time.

Beautiful area, close to the beaches, cool shadow during the day time with nice breeze. Amazing owner and personnel at the restaurant! Also it is possible to rent a bike there.

The air was so fresh and clean it really felt like a break from the busy city life. The sunsets were absolutely beatiful. We went on a fishing trip by boat and also rented a scooter to explore the island — both were amazing experiences. Overall, such a fun and relaxing stay. Would totally recommend!

This total private bay is a bit difficult to reach, but totally worth to go the extra mile. The hospitality of the staff makes you feel like a family member, not a guest. Accomondation is very basic but spending the day in a hammock or explore bay, beach and sea makes up for that. Perfect place for some quiet and lazy days. Expect no luxury but yout basic needs will be catered. If you look for a beach experiance like Thailand 20 years ago look no further.

The staff are amazing and friendly. I liked my room, which was simple but clean, and had a great balcony. Ranong is a very interesting place with some great markets.
