Nice, cosy apartment. Good for a short period of stay. Unfortunately, some things weren't as in the offer. No hairdryer, no Netflix, no coffee machine, no private parking, poor cutlery set, only one set of towels for two people, soap after previous customers, fact we couldn't pay by card although it was a recommended form of payment.

We loved our stay so much, we extended it. The breakfast was phenomenal, the rooms beautiful and the staff fantastic. A special shoutout to Nede at reception, she was so kind and helpful. All the staff really made our stay exceptional. Do note, that since the stay is located within the Medina, you cannot drive right up to it or have a taxi take you to the entrance. It's not a long walk from the entrance though.

Best place to stay in Tunis is the Medina and Dar El Jeld is the best place to stay in the Medina. Love the four fine chocolates in the room. Better than mint on a pillow.

To start with, we could check-in around 11 AM. We were welcomed at the reception by Emna, who offered us water and coffee. The check-in was very quick. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, e.g. WiFi, TV, comfortable beds, and air conditioning. The bottled water was also provided as well as kettle, tea, and coffee. The bathroom was equipped with towels, a set of cosmetics, and a dryer. We also had a bathtub. Emna was very helpful and hospitable. The breakfast in the morning was simple but very good. We got coffee, boiled egg, bread, jam, butter, croissant, yoghurt, and smoothie. We were asked a couple of times if we needed more to eat or drink. We recommend the hotel Suisse if you stay in Tunis. The hotel is located near the Gare de Tunis, city centre and Medina.

We had the privilege to stay in this beautiful historic hotel. The service at the reception was great also the security we had for our 1957 classic car was amazing. Our bedroom was overlooking the square. it was an spacious and well decorated comfortable room. The breakfast was great a variety of food. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
