I went during the off season.

Fairly quiet in January with warm winter sunshine. The sea at Bodrum beach was clean and the water flat and calm, but a bit cold for swimming. Plenty of cats patrolling around the beach side restaurants. I recommend Dinc restaurant and cafe on Bodrum Beach. Very good service from head waiter Mehmet and the house white wine is very good. My room was lovely with probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in Turkey. The situation is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the beach and shops, but nice and quiet at night. Jen is a great host, welcoming and looking after her guests very well. I really enjoyed talking with her.
