Everything was perfect. Large, beautiful, clean, and newly renovated rooms. I have nothing to complain about. The hotel’s location is perfect, right across from Galata Port, close to Istiklal and the tram station that goes to Fatih (Grand Bazaar and Mosques). The breakfast was very good, with everything you need (eggs, vegetables, fruits, jams...), and fresh products. The hotel owner is very nice. Parking is available in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was beyond perfect. The room was really comfortable, the staff amazing. They’re always offering things to drink. They accepted all our demands. They were really amazing we will come back for sure. We prefered two things : The Hamam and Sultan who was always smiling and offering his help. Thanks a lot for him

FAQs about hotels in Istanbul

The Best of Asia and Europe

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendour and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.

Take a stroll through the historic centre or the bustling Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.

If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.

Getting to Istanbul is an easy trip from Ataturk International Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel on the Asian side or a budget hostel in Taksim Square, Booking.com has over 1,000 great accommodations for your holiday in Istanbul.

I especially enjoyed walking through Sultanahmet, where the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace sit within steps of each other. The Grand Bazaar was another highlight, buzzing with colour, spices, and traditional crafts. A ferry ride along the Bosphorus gave me some of the best views of the city. 🍴 Where I ate: Food was a joy everywhere! Street vendors selling simit and roasted chestnuts made the walks special. I had delicious kebabs in Karaköy and tried fresh seafood near the Galata Bridge. Don’t miss Turkish delight and baklava with tea in one of the traditional cafés. 🚋 Getting around: It’s fairly easy to get around with Istanbul’s trams, ferries, and metro. A transport card is very useful. Walking is the best way to soak up the atmosphere, but be prepared for hills! ⚠️ What I’d avoid next time: I would try to visit popular attractions early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Also, I’d be more careful around touristy areas where prices can be inflated.

Istanbul is a great world by itself. In summer time it is over crowded, it is not advisable to visit it in the summer. Some taxi drivers try to cheat tourists. That is really a problem. There are a of things to see and visit.

Istanbul is obviously a stunning city with so much to see, do and learn. I first visited about 15 years ago and was left with best memories. This time round I was shocked by prices. I come from UK where entrance to most famous museums in London are free. So to pay £50-£60 for palace/museum entrance for a 2 hour tour was a bit disappointing. Prior to visiting Istanbul we visited Saint Petersburg and paid £17 for entrance ticket to Hermitage - the world’s most famous museums, and spent 6 hours exploring it. Most museum entrance in Saint Petersburg was £8-£20 max. So much better value for money. Also restaurant prices in Istanbul are the same as in London with smaller food portions. All in all Istanbul is very expensive!

Istanbul is truly a gem of a city.

Istanbul is truly a gem of a city. I can never see all of it as it is way too big to get around when on short stays- but there is so much history, culture, and the food is always amazing. The service you receive from the locals is always attentive and impeccable and they always go the extra mile for you. The local cuisine is fresh and always made with passion and there are plenty of places to go. The transport system is easy to navigate and can get you to where you need to go. Locals are always helpful and give guidance.

An impressive bucket of cultural, culinary and sightseeing attractions. Would recommend to book at least a week to find more about the ottoman’s history and culture. Beside the famous, well known objects you should also include Grand Çamlıca Mosque and the beachfront in Uskubar, on the asian side. The public transportation is outstanding: the Istanbul card (is practically a wallet) offers access to tram, bus, metro and ferry at insignificant price.

Hilton Istanbul Bomonti - Excellent location, close to shopping centers and historical places. Nice suite and good view with balcony. Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight—an extensive buffet with a mix of Turkish and international options. There was something for everyone: fresh fruits, pastries, cheeses, hot dishes, and live cooking stations. The quality and variety were impressive. Public transportation and taxis are readily available, and many attractions are just a short ride away. Executive lounge was superb and had good option all day around for food and drink. Sauna, Stem bath, Swimming pool were excellent. It is really an excellent place to stay.

This property has almost everything one wants during travel. I stayed with my family for 04 nights. we were warmly welcomed and offered best hospitality possible. location is great. Just 02 minutes walk to Taksim Square. everything is nearby for daily life. Hotel manager, Mehmet, is such a nice guy. He arranged a bosphorus cruise dinner trip and airport transfer at very good rate. He offered all kind of assistance wherever required. Highly recommend for stay.
