It's located in the outskirts of Luodong where traffic is virtually nonexistent (at least at the time we were there). So, if you're looking for a quiet area, this should do it. The house is very spacious with everything you need (and more) on the ground floor : fully equipped kitchen, TV, video games, karaoke machine (oh yeah !) and even an electronic mahjong table ! Upstairs are the bedrooms. Ours was quite big and decorated with taste. The ensuite bathroom was bigger than expected, with bathtub and shower to accommodate everyone's preferences. We also had a balcony with rice fields and mountain view. Also, out front you can park up to 3 cars which is a plus. Finally, it was really easy to communicate with the landlord who was very helpful throughout the stay. For the price we paid, we thought it was an amazing deal.

pros: - amazing hosts, very friendly and super helpful. recommended a bunch of restaurants and helped us book. picked us up nearby when we couldn't find the guesthouse. - beautifully located guesthouse right by the river with mountain views. - comfortable mattresses.

The owner of the hostel is a very interesting guy, he gave me so much information and gave me a great introduction on the culture and history of yilan. I was a very peaceful place with a great coffee shop and restaurant nearby
