A spectacular location, close to the forest, with the opportunity to walk along nice paths surrounded by beautiful trees. The room was absolutely fine, while the hot spring was a bonus. Breakfast was mainly local style, but we were okay with that. On the whole wonderful for those who love nature

We stayed in a room with four single beds and loved the location: the view from the window was absolutely stunning, and the spacious room was convenient enough for four people. The price of NT6,000 included a tasty dinner and breakfast, which was great. However, we still felt it was a bit overpriced for the quality of the room: there were no curtains on the windows, no nightstands, and only one small pillow per person. It would be nice to provide extra pillows, especially for guests with back issues. We also noticed dust bunnies, stains on the sheets, and hair in the bathroom.

This place is truly exceptional: Combines a beautiful view over the mountains, lake and distant ocean with a distinct NZ or UK-feeling of design, a nice romantic Hobbit-garden - and sounds of Nature all around. Good location for relax from city-life, with friends or as single-traveler. The owners were friendly and very helpful, provided a very good veggie dinner and breakfast on request. Located closely to the hiking-areas of XiaoWuLai (Ancient Trees) and other scenic spots.

A fantastic choice for my parents’ birthday celebration! They had such a lovely stay at this hotel. The food was consistently excellent, and the breakfast was a highlight of their mornings.
