Odesa is a gem on the Black Sea. It is truly one of my favorite locations. During the war, there are some risks, especially at night. It is important to have some situational awareness and anticipate where to be if an air raid siren happens. That said, I never felt personally in danger and was able to meet with other mental health professionals to discuss programs during the war. If you have free time, the Opera House is a rare treasure and consider taking in a performance if you can. Odesa is a great city for both the young and old alike.
Odesa is a great city for both the young and old alike. Out of war-time, it is quite the party town and the young still manage to have a good time despite the curfews. In several places around the center city, navigation crushed...the north, direction went crazy...so no navigation could have been used...not in all areas, but many. There is a nearby supermarket. the apartment is very nice, there is everything you need for cooking, the owner is very helpful, I really recommend))) lots of bars and cafes there is a funfair in Arcadia for the kids and there is a big market in Odessa worth going to lots of bargains from fish to clothing and other things you might need the night life is very good don't worry about the war you are safe in Arcadia l am from England the best way to get to Odessa is from Moldova to Odessa by coach that is the fastest to Odessa not by Poland from Lublin... the bus from odessa to arcadia you catch the 198 bus out side of the train station or go by taxiGuest review bybarry - 10.0

Odesa is an architectural delight. Buildings of all designs, pastel colors, very grandiose. Miles of sandy Black Sea beaches, lined with restaurants of every flavor. Opera House is an extraordinary wonder. For English tour ask for Irena. Music and art every where. Center City is the night life hub and Arcadia is the Beach night life hub. Museums, churches, music halls - you need multiple visits to enjoy it all. I have been in Odesa in 2022 at the beginning of the war and now in 2024 for three months. Despite the ongoing conflict, the hotel continues to provide quality customer service to all of its guests and runs with most, if not all of its amenities in place. I particularly liked that my room was clean, that the property provided a shelter for its guests, and that a delicious breakfast was available in the morning.
