I loved everything about this place: the serene location away from busy Mbarara city, my exceptional room and facilities, the outstanding and professional staff that always made me feel welcome, secure (I was travelling alone for work!) and taken care of. GKAT resort is the perfect spot to unwind. The place is serene and has awesome views. The rooms are quite spacious, and their breakfast will exceed your expectation. While there, be sure to try their pork ribs. The staff are courteous and ready to help. Mr. Richard is an amazing host, ready to help at all times. He recommended Mr. Theodore, a cab operator, who took us to various places around mbarara and to queen Elizabeth National Park. We definitely would want to be back to GKAT.
