United StatesWhen booking this room I was a little nervous since the price was great and it’s not a chain hotel. The Savannah Lodge exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The room was huge, the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect as well. The pool was great after a day in the heat.

Sheriff Buford Pusser, The Walking Tall Sheriff is the main reason for a stay in Adamsville, McNairy County, TN. Of course it has the Buford Pusser home and Museum, in the actual hlme of Buford Pusser. It has his death car the 1974 Corvette's, and his family car. It has many of Buford's possessions including his AR15 and many of his sticks and clubs. Numerous photos and reading material throughout the museum, chronicling the Sheriff's life snd career. I'm sure most people wouldn't bother with this small town, but there's a Civil War battlefield less than 10 miles from here, and this is the closest place you can get a room. The bed was so comfortable. No backaches. Wish I had it at home. Room was clean and well kept. Ate across the street at Jacks. All meals are available. Reasonable prices. Pizza place a couple blocks away. Good pizza. And I'm from Chicago so I know good pizza. Small town with a few good eateries. Nothing fancy, just polite Southern people. I had to try the The River bbq place. the ribs were amazing! 12 hours of tender. bone slides right out.
