The motel is located on the main street in town. The manager was a very friendly and kind lady. The parking is in front of the room and very quiet town. Closest place to stay overnight before heading to Craters of the Moon National Monument.

    There was a little park commemorating the submarines and we found out Arco was the first city in the world to be lighted by atomic energy. There is all sorts of history here to learn. Craters of the Moon, nearby, was a lot of fun for the adults and the kids got to run off lots if steam, as well as getting their Junior Ranger badges. We had lunch at the Sombrero Cowboy. It's a little family run place. We had a split of people wanting hamburgers and those wanting tacos or taco salads. This place fit the bill perfectly!
