It has grown in popularity and can be a bit overwhelming at times and prices are fairly high but the experience is amazing! Bend has a lot to offer for many interests. It’s a great place for concerts, shopping, wine tasting, restaurants and breweries. Also it offers fun on the river, hiking trails, biking, parks and more. I only had one night to stay this last time around.
I only had one night to stay this last time around. There are many things to do in Bend, but it is practically overrun. Any area of real interest you will have to conted with a lot of people and a lot of crazy traffic. Having visited on and off, and even and lived in Bend once, over the last 60 years I have seen the drastic change.. to this point it has become harder to navigate and deal with. This has been my experience wirh many small Oregon towns I remember from the past. However, I still Love Bend and will return but feel the need to plan well to avoid as much chaos as possible.Guest review byMongo46538United States - 10.0

Bend is an outdoor/adventure lovers wonderland!
Bend is an outdoor/adventure lovers wonderland! There is so much to do in this city. Whether it be hitting the cute boutique shops or getting out on the trails. This city is also very family and dog friendly! Dogs are welcomed pretty much everywhere :) You need at least a few days to explore it all. I love Bend Brewing Company. They have one of the best outside areas to drink, eat and be merry! The whole area of town is so fun to walk through and explore. When the nice weather hits and the heat is up, floating down the Deschutes through town is the place to be! Anchor near Hayden Homes Amphitheater and listen to the sweet sounds of the amazing musical acts they book. Make sure to get a look at the beautiful mountain range. Besides comfortable and well equipped rooms our hosts took us on a kajak tour and invited us to an excellent BBQ dinner. Darcey provides guests day and night with snacks, drinks or fruit. Their huge property adjoins the Deschutes river and provides fantastic views of the river and its natural environment with deer, eagles and jumping fish.
