    The area where the hotel was seemed kind of ghetto. I saw a lot of loud drunks around. But I was there for my son's graduation at Fort Jackson so I really didn't have to deal with those people .

    Traveling around the city was quiet simple, traffic isn't a major issue as you navigate around the city. We also found several wonderful restaurants, most being local. If you are there, try Duck's Donuts, Pawleys's Front Porch, Midwood Smokehouse, and the Juicy Crab. All were excellent locations.

    It was my first visit to Columbia.

    It was my first visit to Columbia. We enjoyed the Capital, Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), The Riverbanks Zoo & Garden, Fort Jackson for graduation ceremony and the many restaurants. I will enjoy returning to this beautiful city very soon!!!!!

    Thank goodness for WAZE road mapping.

    Thank goodness for WAZE road mapping. A fair amount of major road construction taking place around the city. We missed our exit but Waze helped us navigate through our mistake. It also provided an alternate route to avoid construction on I26 right outside Columbia.

    As with any large cities anymore, there are areas of cleanliness issues and vagrants walking around! I came to play golf with a group of 32 men and even the courses have declined over the last few years! We are considering other locations for our week long stay!

    We didn't see much of the town but the minor baseball team that was there was having a great time. They were talking about the cost of the travel they have to do so maybe you could offer them a discount if the team stays there.

    Reception let us in room early. Room was comfortable , clean and tidy . Breakfast was fine and plentiful. Free coffee all day and night in reception area. 24hr Garage next door for any provisions you may need , also cash machine inside . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

    Stayed one night because Columbia was on my route. Just wanted a good night's sleep after coming from overseas. The bed was extremely comfortable, just what I needed after being up for almost 24 hours and also being jetlagged. So all in all, very much ok for the price and one night.
