So much history! A little pricey. Lots to do. Bordello tour was super interesting. Cemetary where Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickock rest was beautiful! Check out the view from the flag post. Bar where Wild Bill was shot was interesting to see. The Gem was about the only pave that had good food at reasonable prices. Upstairs... get a table by the window looking out on to main street. Deadwood has the night life, travel to a lot of scenic, and historical places, are about an hour or so drive, and closer. great steak house in the basement of the Franklin called Legends, our favorite place is Mavrick's, at the Gold Dust, all around good food with decent pricing. The buildings on Historic Main Street have been preserved beautifully. The live reenactment in the historic Main Street is fun to see. We had drinks in the Wild Bull Bar (Saloon Number 10). It is the BEST spot in town! Lots of history there and a good vibe.
