We were expecting more of a city so hyped up. Unfortunately, we didn't find that there was really much to do there at all. Typically, an historical downtown area has some charm and offerings for tourists, but we didn't find this to be the case. Kind of hokey.Guest review byFoote - 6.0

The city has soooo much history!!
The city has soooo much history!! It was fun visiting the museums and areas. The casino was small but not so small that there was no where to sit. They actually have room to expand. The distillery tour and staff was great!!! Alcohol tasting was nice too. One thing about Dodge City to know is that there are a lot of flies!!!! Everywhere!Guest review byYanaUnited States - 10.0
The Boothill museum was amazing!
The Boothill museum was amazing! We purchased the Marshall package. It was well worth it. The show was amazing and the food was great. All of the staff was amazing very friendly. We went to have a beer at the long branch saloon which was in the boot hill museum. We just wanted to have a beer, because I thought if miss kitty was there I was going to take her upstairs and give her the business cause Matt Dillon never did. Ha. Anyway we got there at 430 the place closed at 5 enough time for a beer, we had to pay museum entry to go to saloon so it cost us $28 to go in and $10 for 2 beer so make sure you’re there in plenty of time to check out the museum if that’s your deal. I intended to stay in Garden City but luckily there were no rooms available for the weekend. The next city over was Dodge City. Garden City is very crowded and stressful. Dodge City has a much more relaxed and laid back vibe. If you are a fan of history, The Boot Hill museum is among the best I have ever visited. I had asked to have our rooms on the first floor by the pool and they did it for us. My daughter has twin boys and a wonderfold wagon which does not work with the other floors at the hotel.
