Grand lake is a cute little town with easy access to Rocky Mountain national park. A lot of neat little shops and restaurants and a big selection of places to stay. Really nice area to visit RMNP. I've always gone to Estes Park, but this side is more tranquil and has a variety of different activities to enjoy besides the RMNP (without the long entry lines and large amount of visitors on the trails) - lake kayaking, river float fishing, whitewater rafting, etc. Limited restaurant options, etc., but really quaint town right on the lake.Guest review byIanUnited States - 10.0
Getting around Grand Lake is very easy.
Getting around Grand Lake is very easy. If you go in the warmer months - be sure to go kayaking (or your watercraft choice) on the lake! It is SOOOO beautiful & peaceful. If you go in the winter - check out the snow shoeing or cross country skiing at the golf course (tip - you can take your dog with you!!). Condo was perfect location , close to everything you will want to do. all the restaurants and shops are just great. We hiked Adams Trail and North Inlet Trail. Took the Boat Tour of Grand Lake with Rick our tour guide and went out on the paddle boats.Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0

No place to set luggage. No place to hang cloths. Shower and bathroom very small. My elbows hit the walls the shower was so small. Towels very small and limited place to hang towels. Towels for use were placed on the floor by staff. No bath mat. Very expensive experance.Guest review byFritz

The view from the balcony was amazing, especially at the sunrise. The kitchen was equipped with everything and the bed was super comfy.
