Absolutely amazing location just in front of the ocean with direct access to the beach. Very calm area- ideal place for relaxation and resting. Very clean and relatively small hotel which was an asset for us as well. Complimentary bikes. Good gym.

Breakfast is great! Good selection and the area is very clean, the staff is very helpful. Location is also great, there are some shops in walking distance for convenience. The hotel is very clean, the pool area is also very nice, I highly recommend to visit this hotel.

Great location. What a view! We also loved the island Bar staff (Holly especially) were great, as were waiters and waitresses. Levi and the other maitre de were also great. Food excellent (if expensive) Amazing pool Very-very clean

We loved our 3 bedroom Villa, with wonderful ocean views, and all the comforts of home! We enjoyed going to Driftwood Beach which is walking distance along a nice path from the Villa’s. So conveniently located on the Island!

Fantastic view. Was able to watch sunrise from out balcony. Steps away from the beach as well as stores and restaurants. Will be going back great service by all staff.

    I have been visiting Jekyl Island for over 30 years and have seen it grow. I am glad however they kept it a small town feel. Love the historical district and the Jekyll Island Club. Have stayed at the Historic Club several times and also at the beach resort. Looking forward to that again.

    The people we met working on Jekyll Island were so friendly and welcoming! The island has a very peaceful/quiet atmosphere. There were no crowds. Driftwood beach was just amazing. We loved the grounds of the Jekyll Island club. The trolley tour is a must. The restaurants were great- Tortuga Jack’s, Willets Low Country and of course Jekyll and Tide. All worth the price. It was so easy driving around the island. The next time, we will rent a golf cart. we will definitely be back-it is my new favorite escape Jekyll realty was wonderful to work with, making our stay very easy.

    The Hampton Inn and Suites was isolated enough to seem like we were the only ones on the island. But not too isolating because restaurants and other stores were close by. Food choices were great and the taste of the food was also wonderful! We ate at Corridor Z and Millet’s Low Country Boil. The short drive to Driftwood Beach was well worth it!!!

    The island is basically our most favorite vacation spot for short visits. We enjoyed being able to ride bicycles on the trails and especially on the beach from the pier to Driftwood Beach at low tide. The Dolphon tour was really great this time; the dolphins really performed well for us. My wife has been going to Jekyll since her teenage years, over 50 years now. We will continue to visit. I wouldn't consideer ourselves among the younger couples any longer.

    My favorite place to hang out and we have been coming here...

    My favorite place to hang out and we have been coming here for many years. There’s no shortage of activities. It gets a bit crowded during the high season but that’s to be expected. The main attraction is, of course, the peace and tranquility of the beaches and the charming historic district. There’s no better place to watch a sunrise or sunset.

    The hotel is lovely. The pool area is very tasteful and looks nice be a use all the security fencing is covered with greenery. There are two outdoor fire pits light at night. Good quality loungers by the pool and chairs in the gardens overlooking the sea. The sea is a short walk from the gardens. The room was nicely serviced when we were out. The receptionists were most helpful and friendly. We hired two bikes from the hotel, efficient and easy. Free sodas and water in the fridge. Nice little touches .

    The overall hotel location was great! My family and I enjoyed the town and nearby shops. Most places were of walkable distance or a very short car ride (5-10 min.). The hotel breakfast was nice. You offered plenty of choices. My husband and I enjoyed the waffles and breakfast sandwiches. My son enjoyed the muffins. I think he ate 6 total while we were there.

    The hotel is directly situated at a wonderful strech of beach. The rooms and bathrooms may be a bit outdatet, but are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and we enjoyed a swim in the clear pool. Definitely worth a recommendation.
