First and foremost I would like to say this was one of the best places I have ever stayed in all my years of travelling to various countries around the world. My mother and I were visiting from Ireland and unfortunately due to the train station being located at Wells, we required a taxi to and from the station. We were initially advised Uber would work in that area but it did not and we were told after this by the hotel that they were notoriously unreliable. We successfully managed to get to the property after calling a local taxi at the train station. We also ensured to arrange a taxi to take us back to the train station with plenty of notice. 30 minutes before the taxi was due to arrive, the hotel was called to let us know they would be a few minutes late only and not to worry as we would still make our train. 25 minutes later no sign and I spoke to the lady working there. When I asked if they gave an ETA as our train was booked back to Boston in less than 30 minutes, she was shocked and immediately sprung into action. She attempted to contact back the taxi company who now were not answering. She straight away got in touch with her general manager, Kristin, who had no hesitation to take us to the train station at Wells asap. We made the train with 2 minutes to spare and to be honest besides the helpful nature of the staff throughout our stay which I was going to highly commend, the actions of the staff and the lengths they went to to help us in our situation were amazing and I was so grateful for their kindness. Besides all this drama, we encountered various staff during our stay including the lovely Megan and Tasha. Both were super friendly and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was great each morning with fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola and a variety of breads. The offerings were very healthy and tasted great too. Also, the drink station was a nice touch and the evening salted cookies were wonderful. The hotel was very clean and tidy and in a beautiful location.

Outstanding accomodation, one of the best I ever stayed in. What made it exceptional is the hospitality of the owners and their unbelievable attention to details to make your stay memorable! The accomodation itself is immaculate, like you step into a fairy tale, and feels so cozy that you never wanna leave. They dont only offer beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes for a sunny day but they even gave us sunscreen for our one beach day during our stay! Ron and Amelia, the owners and hosts are lovely people, I can only congratulate to them for running such a perfect place!

We all loved the place. Mike was so friendly and welcoming. House was so nicely decorated, good rooms, tt was clean, bikes for free, games for the kids and a beautiful terrace and garden. All you need to enjoy a peaceful time in Maine. Can not recommend this place enough.

    We had dinner the next town over in Wells, but I would recommend walking to one of the local restaurants if you're staying downtown. So much good food and fun places right on the water to explore, we love Ryan's Corner Pub for a nightcap.

    I’ve always wanted to visit.

    I’ve always wanted to visit. It’s a beautiful place, but not very big and if you don’t like the water (excursions for fishing, whale watching, etc). There really isn’t that much to do. Parking is very limited, so try and get a place close to the Main Street, so you can walk to the shops and restaurants. Allison’s restaurant had gluten free options for me. We tried a lobster roll on gluten free bun at the crab shack. We drove by the Bush compound. I would recommend renting a bike to get around.

    The coastal walk to Walker's Point and the town itself were interesting and enjoyable. There is a Seaside Trolley Museum within Kennebunkport, which was worth visiting (if you're interested in historical transit options) and Wells too (the Marginal Way walk) is within easy reach

    Kennebunkport is a quaint seaside village!

    Kennebunkport is a quaint seaside village! There is so much character and history in the town - plenty to see and do. Alisson's Restaurant and Batson Brewing are two great places to dine and have a cocktail or two. H.B. Provisions is a quaint store that is a visit back in time. Everything is so easy to get to - most within walking distance. It is a "must see" place!

    The food scene in Kennebunkport is amazing.

    The food scene in Kennebunkport is amazing. The White Barn in indispensable - bring the budget and be prepared to get wauw'ed. Plenty of other great places, at half the price but still wonderful (Lost Fire (steak) and Rosella's (sushi). Yum.

    Enjoyed the 4 mile loop road and nice walk on walkway...

    Enjoyed the 4 mile loop road and nice walk on walkway overlooking the ocean. Had the best warm lobster roll at Mables. Hard to find I found out later in our trip. Take time to visit Ogunquit and Wells just a few miles away.

    We booked this last minute having enjoyed a wonderful lunch and loving the location. The room was in the annex but had everything we needed. We are in the restaurant at night and the food was delicious - best meal of our 2 week holiday. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
