Niceville holds up to its name ... a nice community.
Niceville holds up to its name ... a nice community. There are several very nice and fairly new hotels but overpriced for the area. Long drive to get to the beaches and a toll bridge for the shortest drive to get there. Very congested if going to beaches through Ft Walton Beach due to new bridge construction going from Ft Walton to beaches on the island or Destin.Guest review byTharp - 10.0
Niceville is a small town on the Choctawhatchee Bay.
Niceville is a small town on the Choctawhatchee Bay. I have family there and have watch it develop over the last 30+ years. There are many places to eat. If you enjoy the outdoors Turkey Creek Park is right there along with many other outdoor experiences. You can drive through town and take the Mid-Bay Bridge to Destin. It drops you off at a large shopping complex and minutes from the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Beyond that is a short drive to the beach. Staying in Niceville allows you access to the beach without experiencing the overcrowding and heavy traffic everywhere you go.Guest review byShannonUnited States - 8.0

We didn't get to see much of Niceville because we were in town for a soccer tournament. The ate at Whataburger and the food was awesome. Travelling around Niceville was very easy and there wasn't a lot of traffic.Guest review byAnthony - 6.0

Nothing about this hotel was pleasant!
Nothing about this hotel was pleasant! The pictures from the internet didn’t match the actual place whatsoever. There was a mildew smell, moisture in the room that had my clothes damp with a mold smell. The refrigerator didn’t work and they claim they was sending someone out but nobody ever came , and that caused my groceries to go bad. The pillow cases and sheets had stains on them . Something was biting us , they tried to cover up the mold/mildew stains by painting the ceilings black. The outside of the hotel had mildew running down the sides I should’ve took head to that but they had already taken my money! I paid $716 and it wasn’t worth $100 at ALL!! This was a complete ripoff!!!Guest review bylewis
