The perfect distance between Tacoma and Seattle. We did both. Dennys in the parking lot was a plus with shopping nearby. The car show at the Fair grounds was a treat. I stay here a couple of times a year.
I stay here a couple of times a year. Staff is sparse, but friendly.The old motel is suffering from too many guests and poor maintenance. Price is the leader here. Most other are hotels are way more expensive. Plus, they do provide a breakfast of sorts with yogurt, cold cereal, fruit and a minuscule sweet role with free hot coffee. Walmart, Grocery outlet, & other box stores are a quarter mile away & up the hill, along with many food options from Burger King & Jack in the Box, and Chic filet to little food shops -- mostly Asian, but all are pretty good.Guest review byPeter - 8.0

Puyallup is a nice clean city with lots to do. Stroll downtown and enjoy the quant shops and antique stores afterwards stop and get a drink at one of the many great restaurants/lounge. When we got to the office the girl didn't come out of the...
When we got to the office the girl didn't come out of the other room for almost 20 minutes. When she did it looked like she had been sleeping or doing something she wasn't supposed to be doing while working. The time was 8 pm. The room was really clean but no hot water for a couple days. Not much going on in town, but I came to attend a trade show at the state fairgrounds - which are adjacent to motel. If you come when the fair is on make sure to book room well in advance. Also large uptown commercial district with Big box stores, fast food options and mall.Guest review byPeter
