An older motel but the rooms have been refurbished to a good standard. This is a no frills motel and great value for money. Fine for an overnight stay. The room was well furnished with an extremely comfortable bed. Great location right in the centre of a pretty little town.

When booking this room I was a little nervous since the price was great and it’s not a chain hotel. The Savannah Lodge exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The room was huge, the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect as well. The pool was great after a day in the heat.

Welcomed by Carol and had a great chat about the facilities and local area for dinner. Property is perfectly located for our visit to Shiloh and broke up our trip to Nashville. Rooms were spotless, quiet and breakfast so lovely.

Savannah is typical of a rural county seat in the South.

Savannah is typical of a rural county seat in the South. If you are a Civil War buff, you will want to add it to your Shiloh visit. If you have interest in history, you must visit the history museum in the old post office downtown. You’ll also want to drive/walk past the antebellum houses on CollegeStreet, a block from Main. Restaurants in the area generally offer traditional regional foods, including fried catfish and smoked country ham. The largest attraction in the area is Pickwick Lake and the Tennessee River, and only a dozen miles away. The lake and the river are great for fishing, swimming and boating. There is a state resort park at Pickwick.

    Friendly and pretty southern town.

Friendly and pretty southern town. Very convenient to historical sites like Shiloh National Military Park. The small Italian restaurant on the main street was very friendly and had very good service/food.

Our trip was enjoyable and the locals are used to tourists because of Shiloh national park and Pick Wick dam and area. We visited the parks and ate at the Outpost restaurant on S.R. 128, and the ribs were great, and the next night we ate Mexican food with great service.

There for a wedding and just needed for one night but it worked out real well and we would stay there again. Clean, beds real comfortable and room temp easy to control. Good location to almost anything you would need. Staff very nice. They have morning coffee in the lobby and some breakfast cakes but we elected to go to the donut shop right down the road and other good food spots nearby, not too far to theater, bowling ally and shopping. Pickwick just a few miles away.

This is a nice, family-owned motel in downtown Savannah, Tn. It is an old motel but is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance of several good restaurants. Our stay was very pleasant.
