Close to Dinosaur National Monument which we thoroughly enjoyed. There is a movie theatre in the town, and ticket prices were VERY reasonable. It is called "Dinosaur Land" for a reason. The town is sprinkled with Dinosaur statuettes in all sorts of colors.Guest review byLynneUnited States - 10.0

I loved the small vibe to the city, very clean and the people everywhere I went was all too friendly. I loved touring the city. It has more than I expected. Thank you. The town overall has really psoitive vibes. The people are friendly. The downtown is beautiful with flowers and is very clean. There a lot of private small businesses rather than the usual dull chains. They have those too but they are more on the outskirts. We really liked the breakfast and lunch places like Betty's Cafe. Loved the views and how close it was to stores and restaurants. I also loved how easy it was to get to Flaming Gorge and other attractions. They rent out the basement as a separate unit, so we had to be considerate about our noise levels, which wasn't a problem for us, but might be for others. Also, if I was to go there again, I would bring another family friend and rent both units at the same time. Dinosaur National Monument was great.
Dinosaur National Monument was great. But, be sure to leave time for the petroglyphs on the McConkie ranch. There are some good restaurants. Be advised, many are closed on Sundays, Also, things shut down at 9 pm. It is quite a drive here, so definitely allow a at least couple of days to explore,Guest review byFoster - 10.0

Vernal has a lot of interesting things both in the town and close by. We went to the 7-11 Ranch for dinner and it was excellent and reasonable in its price of option. We attended the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and it was beautiful. We visited some family and had a wonderful day all around.Guest review byRogerUnited States

I appreciated the room had a microwave, a refrigerator, and a desk to work.
