Beautifully located-nice and quiet, surrounded by nature, all facilities present that were needed. It was cool enough not to need the Aircon, just the ceiling fans. Enjoyed sitting out on the upstairs deck listening to the stream and birds. Would love to come again.

    A very nice historic community with friendly citizens and...

    A very nice historic community with friendly citizens and helpful locals. If you're looking for a place to go and you want some quality time with nature or enjoy meeting friendly people or just need to get away from a stressful nine to five ordinary life this is a great spot to enjoy some peace and quiet! It's not necessarily a tourist destination but you can find plenty of things to do especially if you enjoy being outdoors. There's some good restaurants nearby that offer wonderful portions and home cooked style meals. My favorite was a local Mexican restaurant that had truly authentic food prepared by a little lady who might not speak the best English but knows exactly how to communicate with my appetite! The portions of one meal were enough to feed me and my wife and still have leftovers for later!

    I like how low key the city is, and that it is focused on...

    I like how low key the city is, and that it is focused on enjoying nature and spending time outdoors. I hear there are some very nice places in the downtown area, too, but for me, it's the view of Mt. Jefferson and the lovely trails surrounding the New River! Recommend for a laid-back time outdoors!

    Owner lady was very friendly and helpful. Location is very good. Cost is 65 dollars but ended up paying 100 dollars last minute. Sheer waste of money for the unleanliness and poor hygiene. Bed was dirty not made after previous guest was rumpled and dirty. Microwave was very dirty and sticky. Breakfast was very scarce just few packets of instant oats coffee hot water milk just a couple of bananas and oranges. Cleanliness should be improved.

    This place is a dump, all the doors of the building have...

    This place is a dump, all the doors of the building have been forced, inside the room there's no how to lock the door, locks are missing, heater makes a loud metal griding noise, curtains don't close all the way, pillows and blankets yellowish and very old,bathroom is dirty, towels are extremely old, the mattress belongs in the dumpster. Booking. Com should inspect this places before recommending them to customers because both parties if there's a situation none of them help you out, we paid for 3 nights and only endure one, the employee said we will be refunded, but that didn't happen. And no help from booking. Com which was the one that recommended as this unsafe place.

    horrible booking service, unable to cancel and re-schedule reservations, Said I will be billled to my credit card even though cancelled almost 2 weeks prior.....Just not right ............!! I will make sure all my friends do not make reservations at your location!!

    West Jefferson has lots of restaurants and shops to wander...

    West Jefferson has lots of restaurants and shops to wander around in. The caboose by the library and just behind the downtown shops was a big hit with our five year old. All in a downtown setting that is easily walkable. Very cute. Would love to come again, but stay in a nicer hotel.

    Wooded environment along a hillside along the New River...very pleasant, enjoyed hearing the sound of the river below while having breakfast on the front porch of the unit. The unit was very well furnished inside and out, with great attention to detail and cleanliness. The owners/hosts were present and very friendly/helpful. Location was several minutes drive into West Jefferson; this was a great alternative to the hotel choices there.

    Stay here a lot, I know the staff and like them. They know me now and are very friendly. I go out to breakfast so have never utilized the breakfast. The facility is older but still in decent shape. To stay at the other hotel on top of the hill is quite a bit more money. So the Nations Inn works just fine.

    Rest Assured was a spacious cabin which comfortably fit our family of 6. The views of the mountains were beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We are looking forward to staying at Rest Assured next time we are visiting West Jefferson. Thank you for a great stay!
