This Inn is a little hidden when driving through the town and we were definitely traveling during non-peak season. The streets were dead! Either way, we got to the Inn and thought we had the whole place to ourselves, because there were no other cars in the parking lot. We walked in and saw a beautiful, modern lobby with a fireplace going. The room was spaciously small, if that makes sense. There's no elevators in this place, so be prepared to carry your luggage around. Breakfast was good too. They had a little bit of everything, but better than a continental breakfast at a normal hotel. I would stay here again.

The employees at the front desk made sure that we were well taken care of. The atmosphere and cleanliness made our stay memorable. We also enjoyed the rustic look of the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed was big and confortable. It was great that there is a fridge/microwave/coffee machine for personal use. I think there were vending machines to purchase cold drinks/snacks as well as free ice cubes (I think). The pool was a suitable size and the hot tub was great. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

    The town had some very “western” restaurants, fantastic brisket, and a few reasonable stores. But it was overrun with kitschy t-shirt stores. Kind of low-end. Only a handful of reasonable stores. Nothing in comparison to Jackson Hole where we started our trip.

    Our family had an amazing time in West Yellowstone.

    Our family had an amazing time in West Yellowstone. It was a great place to access Yellowstone Park. Buffalo Bar was a great place for dinner. Food and drinks were exceptional . The Gusher piazza shop had great pizza and was less crowded than other places. We enjoyed walking around this town and taking in the sights. Be sure to take in the Yellowstone flick at the IMax theatre.

    Great Yellowstone entrance choice for those who don’t have time to explore the entire park. This area gives you access to most of the popular sites. The town itself has a ton of shops and restaurants.

    The proximity to the park entrance was better than I had expected. The town is very walkable and there is a good selection of tourist shops and restaurants. For breakfast we ate at the running bear pancake house. I highly recommend the boysenberry syrup with the pancakes or the brisket burrito. The pancakes are as big as the plate so use caution when ordering a stack. This place is popular so be prepared to wait especially on weekends. For dinner we tried Hanks chop house and really enjoyed the spinach dip. If cocktails are you thing, huckleberry mules are one of the signature drinks in the area and after trying several other restaurants Hanks has the best Huckleberry mules.

    West Yellowstone offers a variety of accommodation right at the West Entrance to the park. As accommodation is limited within the park, it is a handy to overnight here when spending 2 or more days in the park. There are a variety of bars and restaurants. The town is much more low key and less sophisticated than say Jackson. Hotel rooms even here can be expensive.
