This property far exceeded our expectations. Such a good layout with lots of extras. Lots of room and a large comfortable bed. Location was great and being able to walk next door to the diner/ice cream shop was a bonus. The entry lock system was brilliant and one of the best & easiest we've ever used. The short video explaining it was awesome. Everything worked, seemed quite new. TV had lots of stations. You can park right outside your unit so that's super convenient. We were so pleased we stayed here!! Would thoroughly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at the Lincoln Inn, everything was 10/10. The grounds are stunning, the location next to the Lincoln covered bridge and the river is idyllic, with beautiful outdoor seating areas. The room was perfect, had air conditioning, a really comfortable bed and private ensuite. The Inn and rooms are beautifully decorated, complimented spectacularly with artwork by the very talented Grace Scarlet. Breakfast was amazing, a nice array of breads, muffins, fruit and yogurt. Luke and his family were amazing hosts. He went above and beyond, even giving us a history lesson on Woodstock. He was very accommodating and we can't thank him enough.

We stopped at Simon Pearce for lunch before heading to Woodstock - highly recommended. We stayed at the beautiful Woodstock Inn and ate one night at Richardson's Tavern which is wonderful. We had a muffin, a turnover, coffee and tea one morning at the Village Butcher Shop which we also highly recommend. They had just taken a pepperoni calzone out of the oven and it looked amazing. Definitely a destination next time too! Since a few things were closed for the season, we did a lot of walking and relaxing. We'll be back during the season to use the Inn's pool, play golf and visit Billings Farm.

Woodstock is fantastic town, very pretty (especially in the fall) with some lovely shops and great cafe/restaurants. Recommendations: The Shire is a great place to stay for exploring Woodstock. Dr Coburn’s Tonic was very good for local beer and food. The sandwiches from the Village Butcher Shop are fantastic. Just outside Woodstock is Abracadabra Coffee Shop, great coffee and Donuts, in a lovely old building.

Woodstock is a cute little town, and I fell in love instantly. They are very dog friendly which to me was a huge plus. Mont Vert Cafe was the place to be, and was super crowded but very (as they say on their open/closed sign) awesome!! I went in for a bottle of water, and came out with that and a chocolate chip brownie, which was to die for! Will definitely visit again. Sadly, I didn't have a lot of time to explore, because I had to get on the road to get home, but I did make it a point to visit The Yankee Bookshop, which is a must see. It hade a "book" theme, meaning they sold novelties such as bookmarks that looked like an old library "due date" card. Younger gens may not get this, but us older folks will love it. :) In summary, it was a lot of fun to walk through.

Woodstock Inn has a lovely ambiance, great staff and the rooms are beautiful. You must make reservations for the hotel restaurants before you get there, even thought you cannot dine there if you are not staying at the Inn. I would ask if there is a wedding going on because the music is loud and impossible to get away from. It only went on until 10:00pm on Saturday but downtown closes at 6:00pm and there was no way to get away from the very loud music.

What I've always heard about Woodstock VT turned out to be true. It really is an outstandingly charming village. Picture perfect architecture, super dog-friendly, original art and craft shops and soothing, green commons amongst the hilly green backdrop of VT, kept me intoxicated for three days. I will return with my own art supplies after feeling inspired by other creatives, for a week of blissful enchantment. The most refreshing thing about Woodstock (and most of VT) was the lack of big box commercialism. One must also keep in mind that Woodstock is heavily funded by old wealth, which can afford to pay for upkeep of charm.

The property is on a beautiful location just outside the centre of Woodstock, on a lovely part of the river. We had a one bedroom ground floor apartment in a separate building which was setback from the road so it was quiet with great access onto the back lawn. there was a good area to help yourself to tea, coffee and waters. We did not use the indoor pool or spa facilities, but they looked good and children seem to be using the most. We had a decent size room at the hotel that was good value for money with lots of space.
