The whole place was exceptional from arrival until we had to leave - and I say "had to" because we would have stayed longer if we had a choice! It was peaceful and the views were amazing! The kids had so much fun canoeing and the open spaces were a blessing. Truly a hidden gem! Our host Dianne was the best and went over and above to make our stay comfortable... despite loadshedding😁.

    I would definitely stay here again but the restaurant is a real no no. For the price the service and quality of the food was pathetic. We were still hungry after we ate at the restaurant. Portions small and distasteful. The restaurant brings the hotel down really bad. I would rate this restaurant a two star. Breakfast was really bad. They really need to get new chefs. We were very disappointed as iit was a birthday celebration and the dinner was really a disappoinment.

    Beautiful room overlooking the vineyard and river. Restaurant- absolutely amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great service Spa facilities- warm and friendly service. Amazing facilities. Beautiful and serene getaway.
