The cottage was comfortable and spacious. Instructions were clear and the owner and staff very helpful. Tucked away in the countryside it was ideal and peaceful after a long journey. Very quaint and properly equipped with almost all you require. Very beautiful and antique crockery provided a refined welcome feeling.

It is situated by a vinyard on an island in the orange river. The park is lovely, there is a swimmingpool and the room we got was very comfortable. The food was fine as well. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

A welcoming property with ample safe parking, rooms were large and well equipped and the gardens and outside areas were immaculate. The wine tasting as part of the welcome was great and professionally delivered. The breakfast in the onsite bistro had amazing selections and food was fantastic.

Our stay at the Overlook was amazing! We had some car problems and they really helped us out and actually saved our day. Would definitely recommend booking at this place, because the host is super friendly and the view is amazing! We just chilled at the pool, which was very nice!

Splendid!!! Peaceful, amazing view, solitude, all just 1km from the N14. Big double opening doors looking over a beautiful stoep, cool breeze in the evening and watch the sunrise. Nature abounds everywhere, the bird lifd is just wow! Quality plates and cutlery, comfy bed, powerful quirky shower, all the amenities required for a weary traveller. Tasteful decor and fittings.
