This place is a step back in time and is amazing. The owners are the some of the nicest people you can ever hope to meet. I arrived on a Sunday during a motorcycle trip through Cape and had managed to get a puncture. It didnt take long for the owner to have the bike in their own workshop wheel off and on it way to being repaired. The hotel is actively involved in the motorcycle scene in the area was soon introduced to other who came to chat Motorcycle travel. What an awesome evening and a great sleep.

We had the most fantastic stay at meijers rust! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The communication was easy and Barry had the warmest welcome for us on arrival! Would recommend to anyone travelling this way. The rooms were exceptionally clean and had everything you could possibly need. Beautiful spot. We will be back in the future, thank you again for everything :)

Joel's off the grid is a place to reconnect with oneself, with each other and with the beauty of our country. Joel made being 'off the grid' easy and comfortable. We were able to work as the wifi was strong and reliable and then break up our days with wonderful walks, stunning scenery and hot baths under the stars. What a gem! Thanks Joel.
