Such a warm welcome from the very first moment. Excellent accommodation, outstanding range of wildlife and excellent food. Wonderful breakfast on the balcony overlooking elephants at the watering hole. Could not be more perfect. Ranger, Rayno, was so professional and with such great expertise. The staff was very kind. They pampered us with welcome drinks, flowers in the room, and delicious dishes. The game drive was perfect—we managed to see the Big Five and much more, with lots of interesting explanations and stories. The colonial-style rooms made it feel like stepping into another era. Everything was perfect. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Stayed for 4 nights, we had the best of time and highlight of South Africa. Rob was our guide and is an absolute legend, so knowledgeable and a great guy. Staff overall were super. We stayed for 4 nights which gave us bunch of great sightings. Sightings can really differ between days. Vegan food was great.

Everything was perfect!! What a great place and the value for money is very good (especially comparing to other safaris). Staff is incredibly attentive, well organised and friendly. We felt at home immediately. Rob, our ranger was wonderful and made our time here special - he made us understand that it's not all about the big 5 but showed us so many other amazing animals and plants (even though we did manage to see the big 5). His knowledge is incredible. Every night another ranger had dinner with the group which was also really lovely. We had the best two days!

We loved every aspect of this experience. The staff were all incredible; we were so impressed by the guide's knowledge, enthusiasm & respect for the animals and nature. They made the game drives so enjoyable (even when raining). The reserve is a great size & we had such memorable sightings & animal encounters (elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalo, tortoises, hippos, giraffes, jackal to name a few). We loved the intimate feel of Quatermains, with just 6 guests & everyone eating breakfast and dinner together - which were both delicious. Our personal hot tub heated by a wooden stove was the icing on the cake! Would highly recommend. Thank you so much to Liam, Johan, Nick, Julie & Riaan for a once in a lifetime experience.
