Crossing the border at RSA side is sickening and wonder why no one does anything about it. I am sure the guest lodges are losing business as no body wants to cross the MOZ/RSA border. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was the essence of tranquility. Prolific bird life. I enjoyed the visit from the hippo's and hubby enjoyed the tiger fishing albeit he lost one to a croc. Do take mosquito spray with as they are very small but have a mean bite. The staff are all super friendly and always willing to help. A good place to stay and better than Crocodile Bridge if you want to be close to Kruger but have a choice of eating places and much better value places to stay than SanParks. We recommend the Kommatipoort Golf Club for a drink or a meal on their wonderful balcony with beautiful views over the river. This was the most fantastic stay ever!!! Everything was just great. From the property to the service, we received. We could have stayed another month. So tranquil and the garden with the waterfall are just what we needed after a very difficult year. Mind the truck weighing centre and don't turn off the N4 too...
Mind the truck weighing centre and don't turn off the N4 too soon! Also, signage into Komatipoort is poor for the distance you need to travel from the N4 into the main street of the town. Stop streets for cross roads are not great and street markings are poor.Guest review byBrian
