We arrived late but the owner waited for us.... There were no power due to a storm but the owner made a plan with a light and Fan to accommodate us. The power did come back after a while. Appreciated the effort thank you. In general we enjoyed our stay beautiful farm style accommodation with animals from tortoises to springbucks and horses. Very lovely and save enviroment.

It is situated by a vinyard on an island in the orange river. The park is lovely, there is a swimmingpool and the room we got was very comfortable. The food was fine as well. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Perfect location right next to the Intercape bus office, a lot of places of interest in easy walking distance. Great staff, perfect big and comfy room. Great breakfast with a lot of options. I would definitely stay there again.

Location was good just try to locate better positions for your braai stand it's not comfortable having to braai infront of another guests room and there is no sitting place at these allocated braai areas and secondly try to improve your parking areas so that our vehicles can have under roof parking Upington is too hot to leave my vehicle in the sun the whole day .....I Thank You

We were pleasantly surprised by having a room overlooking the golf course & directly into the sunset. The added bonus was the thousands of weavers coming in to the trees to roost at sunset. Dinner at the restaurant was great. We also were very happy with the secure parking. We will definitely overnight at the Desert Palace again.
