This was our 3rd time booking this house, and it has truly become our "home away from home" in Pondoland. Whether we're experiencing bright sunny days or stormy weather, this house consistently ticks all the boxes. Perfectly located in the tranquil rural village of Rhole, the property offers a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. The spacious layout, warm atmosphere, and rustic charm create an inviting environment that keeps us coming back. The house comes fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, from a well-appointed kitchen to comfortable bedding, while still maintaining its traditional character. The wraparound veranda provides the perfect spot to watch spectacular sunrises or enjoy afternoon tea while taking in views of the rolling hills. The local community is welcoming, and the location offers easy access to both pristine beaches and hiking trails. What truly sets this place apart is how it allows you to experience the genuine warmth and beauty of rural Pondoland while enjoying modern comforts. We're already looking forward to our next stay at this special retreat.

The place was very clean, the staff was friendly and very welcoming. The Beach is very near and it's so clean. If you are someone who loves nature, you are going to connect very well with it. I'm definitely coming back.

It's a beautiful town one to can visit but inhabitants...

It's a beautiful town one to can visit but inhabitants drive reckless and negligent also one must be careful with the roads is too much curves and mist animals sleeping in the middle of the road day and night. Road conditions are good no potholes at all. It has a lot spiritual and traditional heritage sites that many people of South Africa are not aware of.

There was nothing I liked about Lusikisiki.

There was nothing I liked about Lusikisiki. It is a very dirty town. People are driving recklessly, and there is no order in town, the town itself needs an upgrade. The Spar shop gave us hard times, we were informed that we needed to pay using cash instead of bank cards due to their network system which was down. We approached a lady who was working at Spar asking for assistance ,we needed directions to the banks so as to withdraw cash since we were not locals, she had a sour attitude toward us. There are several speed humps even on national roads due to the fact that there are houses by the roadside. It was hectic for me to drive in that area. We were looking for places to eat, only to find that there were only Steers and Fishaways restaurants nearby. We were looking for Nandos but in vain. They have KFC down town.

The road signage is very poor and the owners are not...

The road signage is very poor and the owners are not accessible on the phone and do not respond to texts and calls. We got lost for a good hour. We had to take a risk of putting a guy we didn't know in the car to take us to the place. This was a huge risk because we were travelling as women only. I think the way the pace is exaggerated on advertisement. They must do something on that road and the signage. Rooms were a bit stuffy and full of mosquitos and nothing to use for mosquitos. We decided to cut out stay short and rather loose the money
