SwitzerlandI have been there the 2nd time within 1 year and it feels like coming home. The people (Lynn, Dudley and the 2 other ladies) are warm and friendly, the place where it is situated is so beautiful with amazing views over the bush and the safari drives in Manyeleti are always successful. The food is tasty, water and soft drinks are free, if one wants wine or beer, it can be ordered beforehand. The tents have what one needs, the beds are comfortable and it is so quiet and peaceful. (If you are looking for luxury, it is maybe not the right place though.)

The staff is exceptionally caring, the food is great and the Game drives are nothing but amazing. GermanyVery well tended camp in the bush, close to Kruger and several other game reserves. Owner Bhili and staff are very friendly, lovely people. Lloyd cooks delicious breakfast and dinner and is a thoughtfull host. The camp is solar powered so there is no problem with load shedding. Dinner is served in a traditional boma with a fire in the middle. Bhili is a great storyteller and also a very experienced guide with extensive knowledge about animals, birds and plants. The gamedrives where spectacular!
The beds are very comfortable, the tents and common areas are very clean and well maintained.
Remember you are in the bush in the middle of nature, keep your tent closed or you may have roommates with four or more legs!

We loved the wildness of Manyeleti, and felt much closer to nature here than at Kruger. I feel that people are unaware of the real impact on the nature of things like synthetic soaps and compost toilets should be mandatory. I went into the game reserve for an afternoon self game...
I went into the game reserve for an afternoon self game drive. The entrance fee was 55 rands. It was during the dry season so when I first drove in I did not see any animals. But when I got to the main dam I was astonished by the number of animals that were surrounding the dam. At one spot, I witnessed hundreds of impalas and waterbuck drinking and grazing around the dam, heard of elephants and pride of lions sitting in the shade next to the dam. I do recommend booking the game drive in the park as the roads in the park is not so suitable for 4x2. Took us about an hour to move from the gate to the accommodation because we had to stop for elephants that where grazing on the side of the road. Encountered a lot of Zebras and Impalas too. The accommodation was okay. Though there are points of improvements. We enjoyed the fact that each chalet is independent of other buildings.
