Excellent and quiet location, just outside the city of Cape Town. Beach in front of the hotel. The hospitality and service from the staff were excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast, dinner and wine. We stayed there twice during our holiday, the first time the roof was not accessible due to upgrading. When we returned, two weeks later we could enter the rooftop to view the beautifull sunsets in the evening.

It exceeded all my expectations; the food was well presented, and the ambiance was enhanced by a burning fireplace that not only provided heat but also created a cosy yet exotic atmosphere. I have never experienced this combination with the "involved" and friendly staff.

    Monte Vista itself is a lovely area.

    Monte Vista itself is a lovely area. Well situated to get into the city, to the airport, main freeways etc. The accommodation Overall lovely interior & comfortable. Staff lovely. Very secure. Very well situated to shopping malls - Edgemead centre is ideal and only 5 mins away. If you do need something urgent behind Pick n Pay a supermarket so you can get food etc there. Maybe select a room on the other side - we were in number 3 and is behind Pick n Pay so noise from the fans outside for the fridges in the store were a little loud. Closing windows made dulled the noise and at least you have air con so you can use that if hot. But we'll definitely stay there again if we visit again.

    It is close to all the places we wanted to visit.

    It is close to all the places we wanted to visit. Seems safe. Shops close by to get food and essentials. Waggenaar villas is close to the freeway,so easy access. Uber from city centre back to Monte Vista was not to pricey.
