We normally make use of Portao Diaz Hotel when we visit our family in Groot Brak River and George. It is need and tidy and some of the people there remember us from visiting through the years. The view over the sea from our room, is each and every time my main thing in the mornings. I love the view.

    It was easy to navigate and there’s a lot to sea and places to visit but we didn’t have time as we were there for 4 days. If one plans to stay longer they will find exciting things to do and for families with kids too. The shopping malls are easy to access .

    Great stop if driving along the Garden Route.

    Great stop if driving along the Garden Route. Since we drove from Cape Town, it was a great resting spot. We managed to do all of the activities we had planned in one day; St. Blaize Trail, St. Blaize Cave, St. Blaize Lighthouse, Santos Beach, Explore Old Town, Dias Museum. Short drive to Wilderness were we visited the "Map of Africa " view and Wilderness Beach.

    Unfortunately it was only a 1 night stay on our way back...

    Unfortunately it was only a 1 night stay on our way back home, so there was not enough time to enjoy the scenery. We enjoyed supper at La Peron Visskerm, which was excellent. It's a beautiful town, friendly people, and beautiful surroundings. Our accommodation was superb, the best views and service

    Mossel Bay is a gem on the Garden Route! Beautiful beaches, stunning ocean views, and a relaxed coastal vibe make it the perfect getaway. From great seafood to adventure activities, there's something for everyone. A must-visit destination again!

    Everything great. Will definitely be back asap. Need more time in future. We loved Mossel Bay. Friendly people. Magnificent beaches. Lovely restaurants. Scenery from New Stone Manor picturesque and very beautiful. Couldn't be more happy !!

    Loved the location, the stylish furnishings, the little extras like books and games. Centrally situated between Mossel Bay and Hartenbos. The gym nearby was fully equipped and simply awesome. There are lots for kids to do. We loved braaing outside. The kitchen was fully equipped and spotless. We enjoyed the hotels menu next door, reasonably priced. We had long beach walks and full access to all amenities.. All in all, great value for money can recommend the place. Simply excellent. Will book again.

    The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Bed was super comfy, and we had everything we needed for our stay and more. The owner was kind, attentive, and welcoming. Location is great, only a short walk from some amazing views (St Blaize Hiking Trail). Lovely, safe, and accessible to Mossel Bay Central and The Point.
