This property is a boutique hotel with a lot of charming. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The receptionist (whose very friendly and helpful), offered us a glass of bubbly to cool down, we sat under the beautiful trees and talked about the property and its history. Then, they upgraded us to a a bigger room over the main building. The room dated to 1600s which I find super cool. The food was delicious, the property is very well maintain, the staff is very friendly, the pool is a good size for a property with 15 rooms only. The breakfast is served under the trees in the garden. This place is magic. The sherry on top was the details, every night they'll come the room and leave you water and sweets by the bed, then at check-out they gave us a little bag with goodies including a small bottle of their own wine (yes, they also make their own wine). I highly recommend this hotel.

We were lucky to find this little surprise in Paarl. At the moment we drove through the gate we were spoilt from the warm welcome of the staff to the beauty of the room. So much more than we wished for! Comfy bed, lovely seating area, little kitchen with fresh fruit and drinks in the fridge. The garden view completed the whole experience! Restaurants are only a stone's throw away. Even though situated on the main road, once inside the gates you're surrounded by lush plants, birds and squirrels! What a treat!
