Plettenberg Bay is a fantastic town. It can get very busy in season but an absolute pleasure out of season. Beaches are exquisite and there are plenty of activities in and around for couples and families. Must recommend the Waffling Whale at Formosa - food is delicious and the staff are amazing. We've been coming to Plett for over 20years. There's something for everyone to do if you love sand & sea, hiking, cycling, running, adventuring, bird park, monkey park, elephant park. We were pleasantly surprised by how much Plettenberg Bay has to offer. It's a vibrant destination with a perfect mix of natural beauty, outdoor adventure, and relaxing coastal charm. There are countless activities to enjoy — from scenic hikes and long beach walks to exploring peaceful lagoons and canoeing on the nearby rivers. The area is also home to several wildlife parks, which are great fun for both adults and children. Plettenberg Bay is also the ideal base for day trips to stunning places like Tsitsikamma National Park and Nature’s Valley, both of which are breathtaking and well worth a visit.Guest review byEddySouth Africa
