The location is absolutely great.. just a word of advice... of driving from Oudtshoorn, don't take the Pass jnless you have an SUV, we nearly got stuck and had some hair raising moments. Jaque was amazing! My mum forgot her beloved watch at the property and he went to lok for it and posted it to us free of charge. He didn't have to do this. I was impressed by the honesty and professionalism. Would definitely stay here again as it was such an amazing location, staff are friendly and the beds super comfy with air conditioning too... And we had some animals come out to say goodmorning which was such a highlight!

Everything was excellent. We pre ordered the braai packs for 10 people, salads bread etc. Incredible value!! We a group of oldies cycling 10 days in the Karoo and comfort, ease of knowing everything was done for us, made masterclass the best venue for us. Highly recommend them. Wish we had longer to stay to enjoy all facilities. Thank you to our incredible hosts !!

Second time staying here. It’s the best place of many that I’ve stayed at in Prince Albert. Everything is so comfortable, so well thought out, beautifully furnished and just lovely to spend time in. Whether you’re working, relaxing, having a siesta, enjoying wine by the pool or playing games or reading in the lounge. This is a perfect stay.

Surrounded by gorgeous mountain ranges and charming restaurants serving home made deliciousness from yummy pizzas to scrumptious burgers and don’t get me started on the home baked goodies.     Well positioned. We walked everywhere, good restaurants, art galleries, interesting curio and clothing shops. Free range and organic Dairy and Butchery The hikes are worthwhile, just be well prepared.

    A lovely town, with character, and an amazing twisty drive with majestic mountains and views using either a good tarred road or an absolutely stunning dirt road. A must-do! The charity shop was a great surprise, too!

    We attended the first GAMKA KLASSIEK 2025 festival - it was...

    We attended the first GAMKA KLASSIEK 2025 festival - it was very well organised and the venues were great & festive. We had time to visit Guy's dairy and taste and buy some cheese and other products. We ate at different restaurants; pleasant experience. Only warning: please do NOT enter the town via the Swartberg Mountain pass. It is in a very, very bad state.

    Fab location near 2 spectacular passes, Meiringspoort and Swartberg. Quaint small village. Nice walking trail to the koppie. Great restaurants such as the Rude Chef. Very friendly people. Lots of homemade products and loads of olives and olive oils. Small but sweet Sat Market- lots of yummy foods. Wonderful local architecture of homes except for a couple of new ones that stood out like sore thumbs. Would love to return.

    Acacia Cottage is in walking distance to Prince Albert center, which is a "safe" town, but the setting with a view to grass land from the stoep gives you the feeling to stay at country side. The cottage is very comfortable, having all needed for a self-catering stay. The host is always available, very friendly and having alway helpful tips to explore the area. We can highly recommend to stay there and will be back soon!!

    I can highly recommend this charming and immaculately clean house. Extremely well equipped and a true home away from home. The outdoor pool and braai facility is really great. Prince Albert is a lovely little town with lots to see and the Swartberg pass is an absolute must. We will definitely be back!
