Exceeded my expectations. Amazing little place with breathtaking views, kitchen/ lounge/ dining area opens onto boma. So nice and spacious fitted with all that is needed. Nyala came to eat fruit out my children's hands at the campsite. Could see zebra, ostrich and buck from our boma. Lynne was really accommodating and friendly. Kids were so chuffed to be called to come see a baby Blesbok.

The hotel itself was wonderful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner options were great and the alcohol prices were very cheap. Our room and the location exceeded all expectations. Just about an hour and a half away from Johannesburg, we had a wonderful stay at Out of Africa. My Wife and I visited this lodge for our 5 year anniversary. If you book in advance, you can enjoy a fine dining experience on a Rovos Rail train carriage that's on the property. The hosts Monique and Ludger went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this lodge if you want to escape the busy city life for a nice and relaxing holiday.
